Fiz is a member of many various motorcycle
rights organizations, dedicated to preserving, for motorcyclists, the
rights and freedoms afforded to all citizens under state and federal
constitutions as part of the "core democratic values" of the
United States. Part of this includes lobbying to enact new legislation
to help guarantee these rights, or repeal legislation that already
exists which countermands those values.Two of the main issues addressed by these motorcycle rights organizations are "Motorcycle Safety" for both motorcyclists and car drivers, and current helmet law legislation. The organizations that Fiz is currently a member of are The AMA (American Motorcyclists Association), ABATE of Michigan (American Bikers Aiming Towards Education), and MRF (Motorcycle Rider's Foundation).
